"Folk music is our main theme, mainly

irish and scottish music

, but we're not afraid to take a ride in the rollercoaster of music", Wesley says.
This page tries to describe a number of the songs Céol Ólta plays or is working on.

One of the first things Sergey and Wesley did was playing a couple of tunes: jigs, reels, hornpipes and airs. The tune called Calliope House is a favorite, and they're now combining it, by example of Rapalje, with the song called in Search of a Rose.
Also inspired this way is the Kesh Jig and "You couldn't have come at a better time" (but not in G, in D).

Wesley is a fan of ballads, and wanted a combination of the tunes Bonnie at morne, a smallpipe tune turned to a song, and trip to skye. The combination was inspired by Garlic.

Following the slow ballad, 2 low whistles might be taken up and a tune that's probably called "Back in the old house" is being played as a duet.

Next, it might be time to sing about women or whiskey, either one. The star of the county down is probably a part of every folkers repertoire, and whiskey in the jar not far from it.

There's more to it than that, and these are just descriptions. Recordings will be there at some time, and they will be available here. Check back regularly.
